The Philip Williams Poster Museum was established in Manhattan in 1973 by director and prolific collector, Philip Williams. The collection is one of the largest private vintage poster collections in the world, featuring over 100,000 unique posters dating from 1870 to the present.
The foundation of the Poster Museum's identity was inspired by the process of lithographic stone printing method.
